Guidelines for Prevention in Hospital Area
During this COVID-19 outbreak, our affiliated hospital has implemented several best practices for the safety of patients, visitors, medical personnel, and surrounding communities:
<Entry Restriction>
Entry points for visitors to the hospital are through the designated lobby entrance and Emergency Department (ED).
<Limited Number of Visitors>
Our affiliated hospital only allows 1 visitor per patient, to reduce the risk of virus spreading within the hospital area. This includes number of visitors, family of patients and spiritual visits.
<Health Screening>
All patients and visitors are required to fill in the health declaration forms prior to entering the hospital. Body temperature is to be scanned at every entry point. More thorough examination in segregated area will be implemented for those who are in monitoring, in surveillance, and suspect of COVID-19.
<Isolation>
Patients with monitoring and surveillance criteria will be placed in isolation area according to WHO standards.
<Referral for Diagnostic Test>
As directed by the Ministry of Health in Indonesia, suspect patients will be referred to government-appointed hospitals.

FAQ
Q1: Is the test accurate?
A1: Rapid tests (Antigen Tests) are used to help with the early screening of people who might have been infected with the virus. The test is not as reliable as the standard polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests. Any close contact who tested negative using a rapid test kit would have to redo the procedure after a period of time.
Q2: What if I tested positive?
A2: Those who tested positive will have to get confirmation with a PCR test.
Q3: Will the test be painful?
A3: Only a small sample of blood is needed using a small device. It is not painful and can be done quickly.
Q4: Why can't rapid tests be used as the sole basis for diagnosis?
A4: Rapid tests are antigen tests to detect viruses that work for most people who have symptoms; they may not be able to pick up viruses in some cases.
