A1: Whilst both types of screenings include the same medical/health tests, the Premier screening includes extras such as the following: Ultrasound of abdomen and pelvis, Pulmonary Function Test (PFT), Diet Counseling and Refreshment Voucher. Furthermore, blood investigation in the Premier screening includes the test for HbA1c (Average blood sugar level over 3 months).
Q2: Do I need to fast before the health screening?
A2: Yes, fasting is required for at least 8 to 10 hours prior to the procedure.
Q3: Can I drink water before the health screening?
A3: Water can be excluded from fasting but it is advised to keep it minimized.
Q4: Are medications in the morning allowed before the health screening?
A4: Postpone taking any routine morning medication (except hypertension drugs), unless advised by your doctor, until after the blood investigation.
