HIFU (High Density Focused Ultrasound) is a technology that destroys fat cells with a strong force by concentrating the thermal energy of ultrasound at a specific point. The high-frequency beams used in HIFU devices can help it to reach beneath the layers of the skin, all without disrupting or damaging the skin’s surface. Thermal energy can be passed through skin to the target area without damaging the skin by adjusting the desired frequency of ultrasonic wave. The target area may be heated up to 50°C, where fats break down.

Ultra Cell Q Plus / Plus Linear (HIFU) is a non-surgical face lift treatment with fast procedure. Ultrasound energy has wavelengths that can precisely penetrate deep into the deep tissues with higher temperature compared to other treatments. The resulting heat from HIFU device will increase blood and lymphatic circulation as well as the natural healing process, which in turn will stimulate growth of collagen and elastin. The result is firmer skin, less sagging, and fewer wrinkles.The lift up effect can be felt immediately right after the treatment. At our affiliated clinic, HIFU can be done within 10 to 15 minutes. This device is able to help lift sagging skin non-surgically using the ultrasound technology. There are 3 types of dedicated cartridges enabling a more focused and targeted treatment:

Ultra Cell Q Plus Linear is mainly used for the purpose of fat dissolution. It is effective in areas with lots of subcutaneous fat such as chin and neck area. Compared to the typical device, it has linear cartridges, rather than making dot-shaped irradiation; which means that it delivers higher thermal conductivity, this results in it being 6 times more effective. With bulk heating, fat dissolution takes place. It is able to deliver 400 shots in 4.5 minutes, as compared to other devices that may take up to more than 10 minutes, which means faster treatment time. Due to its ability in aiding a quick procedure, patients can expect lesser or minimal pain, as well as minimal to no downtime.
