What is Newton Coglift?
Newton Cog is a non-surgical thread lift that is made from PDO. Apart from lifting the skin, it also rejuvenates. These threads are inserted into the skin through tiny incisions, and the short cogs can provide a pull to tighten skin. There are 2 types of Newton Cog at our affiliated clinic, the Conventional Newton Cog and the Spiral Newton Cog.
Conventional Newton Coglift
It is a long-lasting lift-up technique that combines Derma Spring Eye Lift with n-COG (Newton Cog) Lift which is recommended for people who want eye lift. Derma Spring Eye Lift is specially for wrinkles and sagging skin under the eyes (usually lower eyelids); it has the ability to firm up the particular area of the skin. This procedure is safe as the needle tip is round, which is less likely for internal bleeding to occur.
Spiral Newton Coglift
It is the attachment of the thread in both directions + 360 degrees, this assists the pulling force of skin tissue to powerfully achieve the ideal face lift. The thread material used is made of PDO (medical metable thread); the thread takes time to be absorbed, this ensures that the effect is safe as well as long-lasting (up to 1-2 years). Furthermore, this treatment allows skin rejuvenation to occur by the collagen production while tightening the effect is still there.
Newton Coglift Procedure
1. Anesthesia will be given.
2. Blunt lead needle will be inserted into the treatment area.
3. The specific thread will be passed through the needle.
4. The needle will then be removed.
5. The end of thread will be pulled lightly to ensure that the thread is tight within the skin.
6. After all the threads are inserted and the balance checked, the threads will be cut.
7. Incision marks are not noticeable.
