What is Double Embedding Non-Incisional Double Eyelid Procedure?
While having single eyelids (or monolids) is not a medical issue, the lack of crease can be bothering. Some people have issues like obstructed vision, imbalance between both eyelids and others want eyes that appear bigger.
Double eyelid treatment can address those issues, and the procedure can be done with or without incision. In a non-incisional procedure, a series of punctures will be made along the eyelid, and sutures will be inserted and tightened at the area, creating a double eyelid. However, issues that often arise from this technique are scarring and loosening of the fold after some time.
At our affiliated clinic, the fold loosening issue is eliminated with the Double Embedding Non-Incisional Double Eyelid method. It is also known as Minimal Incisional method. In the operation, the eyelid crease will be held with intricate knots to get a natural and stronger adhesion between the skin tissue and muscles.
Treatment Procedure
1. Consultation and examination.
2. Eyelids will be measured and marked.
3. Local anesthesia will be administered.
4. A series of tiny knots will be made to create a crease line.
5. Semi-permanent fixation will be refined.
6. Return to clinic for follow-up and thread removal after 3 to 5 days.
