What is Pre-Marital Screening Program?
Pre-Marital check-up program at our affiliated hospital is specially designed for couples to have a health check-up done together, ensuring a healthy happily ever after. The program consists of 2 different packages for couples who are about to get married and also for the ones who would like to do a pre-pregnancy screening.
How It Works
The packages available are Pre-Marriage and Pre-Pregnancy Screening.
Both the packages have the same general physical examination and blood tests as follows:

· HBs Ag
· Anti HBs

· Rubella IgG Single
· Anti HCV
The difference between Pre-Marriage and Pre-Pregnancy Screening is that Pre-Pregnancy Screening has 2 additional tests:
· PV+thinprep
· TVS
As these 2 tests are done to have a thorough examination for women's health; cervical cancer can be diagnosed with PV+thinprep, and TVS is a procedure performed using ultrasound to observe the health of uterus and ovary.
Pre-Marital Screening Program Procedure

A1: No fasting is required.
Q2: Do men have to undergo the same list of tests?
A2: Men will be having the same list of tests except for Rubella IgG Single, PV+Thinprep, and TVS.
Q3: What is VDRL?
A3: VDRL is a screening test for syphilis.
Q4: How long will it take to know the results?
A4: The results for Hemoglobin typing will be ready within 3 days, and PV+Thinprep within 1 week; other than that, the results can be obtained within 1 to 2 hrs after the tests.
