What is Stiff Shoulder Botox?
Botox or Botulinum toxin is a protein and neurotoxin produced by a bacteria known as Clostridium Botulinum. Botox treatment is a non-invasive method of injecting a protein into the tissues to relax and weaken the muscles. Its uses in the industry is very wide.
This also includes its use in the trapezius muscles that can help relax muscle tension and at the same time giving off the slimming effect on the shoulder line.
How It Works
Botox is a type of protein extract that can weaken the action of the neurotransmitter called ‘acetylcholine’. When nerve transmission is blocked, muscles cannot be moved excessively, thus smoothing away and help relax the muscles.
In addition, shoulder Botox is a big attraction because it relieves stiff shoulders and prepares the shoulders into a gentle and beautiful line. The effect of one treatment lasts for about 3 to 4 months. By repeating the treatment, the effect will be sustained (the tension in the shoulder will be less likely to return).
