What is Transconjunctival Fat Removal and Redistribution?

Also known as Transconjunctival Blepharoplasty, This treatment is for those with puffiness or eyebags. It involves incision inside the lower eyelid (transconjunctival incision). This internal incision can hide any surgical scars following the surgery, resulting in a natural look.

In the procedure, portions of the fat pad will be removed or repositioned for a fresher and more rejuvenated appearance.

Treatment Procedure

1. Consultation and examination of your under eye will be done.
2. To start the surgery, anesthesia will be administered.
3. A small incision will be made on the inside of the eyelid.
4. Excess fat will be removed.
5. The remaining fat will be sculpted and repositioned for a smoother under eye contour.
6. Due to the nature of the tiny incision, the cut edges will contact each other. Hence, no stitches will be needed.
