What is Eyelid Surgery?

Double Eyelid

Lower Blepharoplasty

Q1: Will I be conscious during the surgery?
A1: Yes, you will be. Only local anesthesia with sedation will be used to eliminate pain and reduce anxiety. You will not be put to sleep as the surgeon will need you to move your eyes from time to time while the surgery is going on.
Q2: How do I prepare for surgery?
A2: In order to avoid any complications, it is best that you stop smoking, drinking, taking hormonal pills, herbal supplements and other medicines not prescribed by your doctor. If you have any illness, you must obtain a surgical clearance from your medical specialist.
