What is Nasal Wing Reduction?
Nasal wing reduction is a treatment performed for the ones who are unhappy about their nose shape. This treatment is suitable for people with large nostrils, wide nose as well as flat nose. By reducing nasal wing, nose can appear sharper, raised and narrower with smaller nostrils.
How It Works
Nasal Wing Reduction will be done by making small incisions at the nose, usually inside the nose to avoid visible scarring. Small incisions will be made in both nostrils, the threads will tie them together in the middle to reduce the width of the nose.

1. Local anesthesia will be given.
2. Small incision will be made in each nostril.
3. Threads will be passed through the nostrils.
4. Threads will be tied in the middle after passing through.
5. Shaping made while tying the threads.
6. End of treatment.

Nasal Wing Reduction Preparation
1 week prior to the surgery:
· No smoking
· No alcohol consumption

· Avoid eating seafood
· A detailed health checkup may be required
On the day of surgery:
· Fasting is required for at least 8 hrs prior to the surgery
· No makeup; wash and clean the face and nose thoroughly
Nasal Wing Reduction Post Care
· No makeup for 7 days
· Sleep with head elevated to avoid further swelling
· Avoid touching the wound
· Apply cold compression for 3 consecutive days - after that apply warm compression to improve blood flow
· No smoking until the wound is healed
· No alcohol consumption until the wound is healed
· No intake of preserved food
· Avoid exercise that has a high risk of collision
· No proceeding with other beauty treatments until the wound is completely healed
· Avoid being in the area with high pollution or dust
