Arteriosclerosis Test
This is a blood test performed to detect levels of cholesterol and blood sugar that may increase the risk of arteriosclerosis. Arteriosclerosis is a condition when the blood vessels carrying oxygen and nutrients from your heart to the rest of the body become thick, this slows and restricts blood flow to your tissues and organs. Usually, this happens when there is an excess buildup of fats, cholesterol, and other substances such as plaque in and on your artery wall. A plaque can burst which then would trigger a blood clot later on. Arteriosclerosis is considered a heart problem but it is preventable and treatable. Thus, this blood test procedure is important to diagnose early signs of the condition.
Cardiac and Carotid Ultrasonography
Cardiac ultrasonography is performed to examine the size and shape of the cardiac chambers in systole and diastole, the appearance of heart valves, and the orientation of the great vessels. 2D cross-sectional images of intracardiac anatomy will be produced by a stop-action compound scan pulse-echo ultrasound.
Carotid ultrasonography is a technique done to evaluate structural details of carotid arteries. It is an ultrasound-based diagnostic imaging process used to diagnose carotid artery stenosis (CAS) as well as assessing arteriosclerotic plaque morphology and characteristics.
PET-CT
PET or Positron Emission Tomography is a type of nuclear medicine imaging. PET scan measures important body functions such as oxygen use, blood flow, glucose metabolism, etc. This measurement equipped the doctors in evaluating the organs and tissue performance.
CT or Computed Tomography is used to produce multiple images inside the body and provide excellent anatomic information.
Today, most of the PET scans are superimposed with CT using radiotracers to provide more accurate and comprehensive information on the abnormal activity and function of cells.
CT Scans
Computed Tomography (CT) scans can be performed for examining the abdomen, pelvis, as well as lungs.
Low-dose lung CT is the only recommended screening test used for detecting lung cancer. For the CT scan done on the abdomen and pelvis, it helps to detect diseases of the small bowel, colon, and other internal organs; also, often used for determining the cause of unexplained pain.
Brain MRI and MRA
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a medical imaging technique used for detecting various brain conditions such as cysts, tumors, bleeding, swelling, developmental and structural abnormalities, infections, inflammatory conditions, or problems with blood vessels.
Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA) uses a magnetic field, radio waves, and a computer to create 3D images of blood vessels present in the brain.
Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy
Gastroscopy is actually an examination of your stomach and it aims to confirm or rule out the presence of medical conditions like stomach ulcers or gastritis. Gastroscopy can sometimes be used to widen a narrowed esophagus that causes pain or swallowing difficulties. These kinds of conditions may be caused by GORD, oesophageal cancer, or radiotherapy to the esophagus.
Advanced technology has evolved to provide a very clear image of your mucosa through a video camera attached at the end of the thin and flexible tube. This test, known as a colonoscopy, enables visual examination of the entire large bowel area from the distal rectum to the cecum.
If necessary, removal of polyps or other types of abnormalities can be done through the scope during treatment.
Prostate ultrasonography
The examination of a man's prostate gland can be done with this procedure using ultrasound. Sound waves are able to produce pictures of the prostate and help to diagnose symptoms such as difficulty urinating or an elevated blood test result. Abnormalities such as the size of the gland can be determined with this process.
Dental Scaling
Other than the health screenings, the package includes dental scaling. Dental scaling is a procedure done by the dentist to help remove all the plaque and tartar (hardened plaque) above and below the gum line to make sure the teeth are kept clean and healthy.

FAQ
Q1: Is fasting required?
A1: Yes, fasting is required for at least 8 hrs prior to the blood test.
Q2: Can CT scans cause cancer?
A2: No, they will not cause cancer. Since very low doses of ionizing radiation is used, no harmful effects have been observed in humans who have taken CT scans. However, if you are pregnant, do consult a doctor to discuss whether a CT scan is suitable for you.
Q3: How often do I need to go for a medical checkup?
A3: Once a year is a common rule. However, your age, health and family history, lifestyle choices (i.e. the food you eat, how active you are, whether you smoke), as well as other critical indicators can influence what and how often you need a check-up.
Q4: Will low-dose lung CT show other lung abnormalities besides cancer?
A4: Yes, the process is able to detect old or new pneumonia, tuberculosis, or emphysema.
Q5: I have had a chest x-ray before, is low-dose lung CT still necessary?
A5: A chest x-ray only shows 2 views of your chest which is front and side, CT scan shows cross-sectional images all through your chest. Thus, tiny abnormalities can only be detected with CT scan.
