What Is Spark Aligners?

Spark Aligner System is an innovative orthodontics technique available as an alternative to the traditional braces.

Spark Aligners is made easy for the ones who wish to have teeth correction done with minimal follow-up visits and a more comfortable experience. The treatment is designed to help improve the aesthetic as well as teeth movement issues such as spacing, crowding, open bite, underbite, overbite, crossbite, etc. by the gradual straightening of teeth over time.

Moreover, Spark Aligners could provide the near-invisible appearance which is preferable for everyone including the working adults.

How It Works

Spark Aligners has considerably simpler steps than traditional braces at the clinic visits.

During the first visit, detailed interview and examination will be conducted by the orthodontist; followed by comprehensive diagnostics which include radiographs, photographic images, and intramural scans. After that, the orthodontist will then outline the treatment plan and discuss further on the expected results.

A 3D visualisation will be created based on the dental scans to obtained from the first visit to provide an overview of the predicted outcomes. Patients will be able to visualise the exact tooth sequence and movements prior to approving the treatment plan.

Prior to receiving the set of custom-fitted aligners, Spark aligner attachments will be bonded to the teeth to facilitate efficiency and effectiveness of tooth movement as required. Once received the custom-fitted aligners, a session of detailed instructions will be provided to the patients to ensure the correct usage.

Patients are required to wear the aligners for about 22 hours per day, only remove them for meals and cleaning.

There will be a few aligners depending on the treatment stage; each aligner should be worn for 1 to 2 weeks until it becomes "passive", this indicates that the alignment has been completed for the particular stage, and is then ready to move to the next stage. Regular follow-ups with the orthodontist can be done remotely using the Dental Monitoring System.
