What is a Tip Plasty?
Tip plasty is a type of rhinoplasty that can improve the shape of your nose by correcting your nose tip. For instance, those with a bulbous nose tip can achieve a sharper and slimmer-looking nose. All in all, tip plasty is a surgical procedure that helps you achieve a better looking nasal tip. Creating a symmetric nasal tip with the right projection, rotation and proportion to other parts of the nose is what this procedure is meant to achieve.
For a wide and bulbous tip, excess cartilage is removed from the nasal tip and is then reshaped using septal, ear, or rib cartilage.
