What is Cheek Augmentation?
This procedure uses implants to increase the size of your cheeks, making them plumper. The implant will provide more balance to your overall facial appearance.
If you're bothered by flat or sunken cheeks, this surgical procedure can help you gain more prominent cheeks and a youthful appearance. At our affiliated clinic, you are required to stay for 2 nights at the hospital for this surgery.
Cheek Augmentation Procedure
1. Consultation with the doctor will be done.
2. Anesthesia will be administered.
3. Incisions will be made within the mouth, on the upper lip, or lower eyelid, depending on your condition.
4. The implant will be inserted into a pocket made within the facial tissue.
5. The site will be closed with sutures. Additionally, there may be bandaging or taping of the area.

FAQ
Q1: Are there alternatives to cheek implants?
A1: Yes. Fillers, fat grafting and a mid-face lift are all possible ways to acquire a more prominent cheek, but they may not last as long as cheek augmentation with implants.
Q2: What should I expect post-operation?
A2: Note that swelling and bruising are typical. You may also experience a degree of numbness that will normally subside in 1 - 3 months after surgery. Extensive pain is not typical with malar augmentation with implants; however, if you have a low threshold for pain, ask your surgeon to prescribe an analgesic in advance.
Q3: When will I start seeing the results?
A3: Results can be observed immediately. At first, swelling may cause the implants to appear larger than they actually are. It may take a couple of months to see a more refined result.
Q4: Are the results permanent?
A4: Yes. They are designed to last your lifetime.
