What is Facial Liposuction?
Facial liposuction is done to remove excess fat on the face to maintain a good facial contour. Although incision is involved, the scarring will be invisible as only tiny incisions are made in hidden areas. In this procedure, there are 3 methods involved in enhancing the facial line, which are deep cheek fat removal, cheek fat liposuction, and double chin liposuction.
Deep Cheek Fat Removal
This procedure is done to remove sagging fat deposits on the cheeks with the aim to improve facial contour. During this procedure, an incision of 1 - 2 cm will be made inside the mouth to remove excess fat. Not all fats will be removed, as it is important to let some of the fat to maintain a full facial contour.
Cheek Fat VASER Liposuction
Using VASER-based ultrasound cannula that can selectively eliminate fat tissues without affecting the surrounding blood vessels. Incisions will be made along the wrinkles under the earlobe where the ultrasound rod will be inserted. The ultrasound rod will only destroy the fat tissues. Then, the fat cells broken down by the ultrasonic frequency waves will be sucked out using a cannula.
Double Chin Liposuction (VASER)
Incisions will be made along the wrinkles under the chin to ensure the scarring would be invisible. Anesthesia will be administered and an ultrasound device will be inserted to destroy the fat tissues. Then the fats and oil would be sucked out using a cannula and the wound would be sealed.
