What is Butt Lift?
Also known as gluteoplasty, a butt lift procedure aims to raise and tighten the skin of the buttocks. Excess, undesirable skin will be trimmed off, after which the adjacent tissues will be repositioned to produce a younger-looking and appealing body curve.
This surgery is not to be mistaken with a Brazilian butt lift, which adds volume to the buttocks, utilizing injections of the patient’s own fat to enhance projection and to produce a lifting effect.
How It Works
Unlike Brazilian Butt Lift which uses the fat transfer method to add more volume, a butt lift is more of a procedure where your buttock will be surgically lifted and reshaped by creating an incision to remove as much of the excess skin and fat to result in a more toned appearance.
At our affiliated hospital, butt implants may be added during butt lift surgery as well for a more enhanced appearance. The procedure to remove the implants and capsulectomy are also available.
Capsulectomy is a surgical removal of scar tissue or capsule that has become thickened and hardened around a breast implant. The capsule is a combination of fibroblasts, collagen, and blood vessels.
Butt Lift Procedure
1. Consultation will be done to arrange a suitable treatment plan for you
2. Anesthesia will be administered.
3. Incisions will be made. Incision styles can vary according to factors such as the amount and location of excess skin and fat.
3. Excess skin will be removed and the remaining skin is repositioned.
4. Incisions will be closed with sutures. Typically, surgical tape and skin adhesive are used to provide extra support.
