Food Intolerance Test (Blood Test for Food Sensitivities)

Food intolerance is not a food allergy. Instead, it is known as non-allergic food hypersensitivity.
Food intolerance test is performed to find out the particular list of food that the body should be aware of in order to have an even healthier lifestyle than before. There are over hundreds of food that can be tested for and the main criteria are dairy products, fish/seafood, grains, fruits, herbs/spices, meat, nuts, and vegetables.

Food intolerance test works by the testing of blood collected from the patients. 4 simple pin-princks will be done to collect the blood sample as 3 to 5 drops of blood are sufficient for the test. The blood collected will be stored in a EDTA tube. The procedure takes 3 days to know the results.

Q4: Do I need to fast before the blood test?
A4: No fasting is required prior to the blood test.

Q5: I am not comfortable with needle, will this hurt?
A5: The needle used is ultra fine and just a pin prick is needed for the test.
