What is Physiotherapy?

Our affiliated center offers rehabilitation therapies for a variety of issues and injuries, all provided by licensed physiotherapists. In addition, physiotherapy at our affiliated center helps to maintain health and prevent the risk of injuries in the future.

Services include the use of manual therapy, mobilization, therapeutic exercise, the use of technology such as ultrasound therapy, electrical stimulation, cryotherapy, heat therapy, transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation, strength training, cupping, cardiovascular training, sports specific training, pain management PRP and pre and post operative programs. Treatments will be personalized.

Sports Physiotherapy Assessment & Treatment

<Sports specific Massage>
A customized soft tissue manipulation treatment that helps to improve soft tissue stiffness, muscle imbalance, tension, injuries and speed of recovery. Personalized by sport type and individual need.

Pre-operative Program

<Pre – operative program>
A physiotherapy program suitable for those who will undergo surgeries such as ACL or PCL reconstruction, meniscus repair, rotator cuff repair, knee arthroplasty, and hip arthroplasty. Includes therapeutic exercise, cold compression protocol and patient education.

Postoperative Program

<Post – operative program>
A generalized rehabilitation treatment suitable for both amateur and professional athletes who have recently undergone surgery. Includes cardiovascular program, strength training program and return to play evaluation. Post surgical programs are also available for those who have undergone ACL reconstruction, PCL reconstruction, meniscus repair, rotator cuff repair, knee arthroplasty, and hip arthroplasty.

Side Pitch Package

An on-site care during training or competition. Suitable for both individuals and sports teams. Additional fee for equipment.

Kinesiotape Taping

<Kinesiotape taping>
A simple procedure consisting of kinesiotape and patient education on how to independently perform kinesiotape taping. Includes 1 roll of kinesiotape and instructions on how to apply the tape.

Rigid Sport Tape Taping

<Rigid sport tape taping>
A simple procedure consisting of a rigid sport tape and patient education on how to independently perform rigid sport tape taping. Includes 1 roll of rigid sport tape and instructions on how to use the tape.

Cupping

<Cupping>
A therapy involving the application of suction and negative pressure along muscle groups to help induce muscle relaxation. Suitable for those with muscle rigidity, muscle pain, office syndrome and problems related to athletic well-being.

PRP Pain Management

<Pain Management PRP>
A pain management therapy in which your own body's platelets are injected into injured/inflamed muscles to help stimulate tissue repair, decrease inflammation, speed up wound healing and improve function. PRP is prepared by taking your own blood and then separating plasma from blood, eventually concentrating the platelets. This composition of activated platelets in plasma is PRP.
