What is Retinol Peel?
Retinol Peel, as the name suggests is a chemical peel which uses the least invasive technique used to improve the appearance of the skin on the face, neck, or hands. The procedure helps to improve uneven skin tone and texture and also aids in skin replenishment.
The main purpose of conventional peeling agents is to remove the accumulated old cells and promote turnover. In recent years, peeling agents have been widely used not only for their peeling effects, but also for their various anti-aging effects. Usually, this treatment can be done 5 to 6 times at 3 to 4 week intervals for the effective results.
How It Works
The treatment involves applying a chemical solution to the skin that causes it to exfoliate and eventually peel off. The new, regenerated skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the skin that been damaged from the result of aging, sun exposure, a poor diet, and environmental pollution.
A chemical peel can help improve acne or acne scars, age and liver spots, fine lines and wrinkles, freckles, irregular skin pigmentation, rough skin and scaly patches, and sun-damaged skin. However, sagging skin, bulges, and more severe wrinkles do not respond well to chemical peels. After a chemical peel, the skin is temporarily more sensitive to the sun and we recommend using sunscreen every day.
