What Is Tattoo Removal?
Tattoo removal with the ND YAG laser is an effective method of tattoo removal since the laser is an optically pumped solid-state laser that can produce very high power emissions.
The laser is non-ablative, which means that there won't be any break in skin tissue continuity during the treatment. Q-switch means the laser produces a high intensity beam in very short pulses. This allow pigmented cells to be targeted. Apart from breaking up tattoo pigments, it also produces rejuvenation effects to the skin.
How It Works
When this laser’s wavelength are absorbed preferentially by the pigments, the resultant heat will cause damage to the cells containing pigment, breaking it up into small fragments. These damaged particles will then be cleared from the site, resulting in lightening of the treated area.

A2: Dramatic results won't happen immediately. Gradually, you will see lightening of the skin. Depending on the diagnosis, the number of treatment needed is variable and can be scheduled every 2 to 4 weeks.
