Happy Lift is a non-surgical facelift treatment mainly used for rejuvenating sagging cheeks and other parts of the face that has a downward sink appearance to help achieve a lasting V-shape face with a natural effect.
The threads used for this procedure are absorbable between the use of 8 to 12 months; collagen and elastin are proliferated by the stimulation of the thread - which allows the lift-up effect to last up to 2 years after the absorption.

At our affiliated clinic, there are 2 types of Happy Lift:

· Free-Floating
These are bidirectional and convergent threads, giving double mechanism of action of lifting and biostimulation of tissues (this promotes collagen, elastin and HA synthesis)

· Double Needle
A fixed needle inserting half of the wire in one direction and then placed exits via the opening to create an effective fixation, whereas the other half is inserted in the opposite direction. This is suitable for treatment areas such as eyebrows, jawline, and double chin.

1. Anesthesia will be given
2. Blunt lead spinal needle will be inserted into the treatment area
3. Happy Lift threads will be passed through the spinal needle
4. Spinal needle will then be removed
5. The end of the thread will be pulled lightly to ensure that it is hooked within the skin
6. After all the threads are inserted and the balance checked, the threads will be cut
7. Incision marks are not noticeable since only one hole is needed to make the entry of each thread (from hairline/temple)

Q2: How long is the downtime for this treatment?
A2: Normally, the downtime is minimal in which swelling may occur and subside within 3 to 7 days.

Q3: After the treatment, how long do I have to wait to do my makeup?
A3: Makeup can be done right after the treatment but make sure that the treated areas are avoided.

Q4: Is there any chance that the thread will slip or be displaced?
A4: After a few weeks where the threads are settled, there is no chance for them to slip.
